Ruby A. Batimana is a public health professional with over 20 years of experience in military public health, community health, health promotion, environmental health, and health policy. She is currently the Lead Evaluator for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Improvement and Advancement (CCBHC-IA) grant through the SAU-RYC (UnityPoint - Robert Young Center) partnership.
Ruby also shares her expertise in academia, serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Public Health programs at St. Çï¿ûÊÓÆµ, Augustana College, and the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE)
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas, a Master of Public Health from Touro University International, and a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law and Policy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She is a candidate for Doctor of Public Health from Capella University.
Throughout her career, Ruby has worked with nonprofit organizations in various capacities, focusing on health equity and advocating for underserved communities. She is deeply committed to public health, social justice, and public service.
